York Mahoning Mechanical Contractors, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Michael J. Fagert and Ronald J. Fagert, when they purchased the assets of York Mahoning Company from their father, F. Ralph Fagert, who had owned and operated the company since 1960.

 

After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1979 with a mechanical engineering degree, Mike worked as a design engineer with York International in York, PA.  As part of York International’s graduate engineering program, Mike learned all facets of HVAC design and applications.  He then brought this knowledge back with him and returned to work with his father in 1980.  In 1984, Mike became a registered Professional Engineer. Since then, York Mahoning has grown into one of the most well-respected HVAC contractors in northeast Ohio.

 

Since 1989, York Mahoning has performed over 7,000 HVAC projects from small replacements to multi-million dollar new construction or renovation projects.  York Mahoning averages between $15,000,000 - $20,000,000 in annual revenue.
